Why we exist.
Selah Grey Academy exists because too many bright, capable, and full-of-potential children are left feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or pushed aside by traditional school systems. Our school was created after walking alongside families whose children needed more than just smaller classes. They needed safety, patience, therapy, and teachers who truly saw them.
At Selah Grey, each student is met where they are and supported through individualized academics, emotional care, and therapeutic services that help them grow in confidence and independence. We believe every child is created with purpose, and when they are given the right environment, the right supports, and the time to grow, they do not just catch up. They begin to thrive.
Individualized Learning
Every student receives a personalized learning plan built around their academic level, emotional needs, and learning style.
On-Campus Therapy
Students have access to mental health, speech, occupational, and behavioral therapy during the school day, reducing stress on families and increasing consistency of care.
Small, Supportive Classrooms
Low student-to-teacher ratios allow for more attention, more flexibility, and more meaningful relationships.
Tuition Assistance Available
Our team helps families apply for Exceptional SC, Palmetto Promise, and other scholarships to make tuition more accessible.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Dear Prospective Families,
Welcome to Selah Grey Academy. I am so grateful you are here and taking the time to learn about a school created with deep care and purpose for children who need something different. Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions a family makes, and we understand that many of you come to us after walking through frustration, worry, or uncertainty about how your child fits into a traditional classroom.
Selah Grey Academy was founded to be a place where children are truly seen. Here, students are not defined by what they struggle with but by who they are and who they are becoming. Our team works to create a learning environment that is safe, nurturing, and structured, while also offering the therapeutic and emotional support many students need in order to succeed. We believe that when children feel secure, understood, and valued, they are able to grow in ways that once felt out of reach.
We partner closely with families, knowing that you know your child best. Together, we build individualized learning paths that support academic growth, emotional well-being, and confidence. Our goal is not simply to help students get through school but to help them discover their strengths, develop independence, and step into their God-given potential.
